Web Scraper Demo: Data Pipeline Demo
A Python pipeline that crawls all 1,000 books on books.toscrape.com, a site built for scraping practice, then cleans and checks the data, stores it in SQLite, detects changes and writes an Excel report. 21 tests pass.
The scraper demo reads only books.toscrape.com. It checks robots.txt, sends at most one request a second and does not get around CAPTCHAs or blocks.

Turns text-based PDFs into Markdown and keeps bold and italic, indents, tables and page numbers. Scanned pages are flagged for OCR instead of guessed. A demo; the sample PDFs are generated.

Excel Data Reconcile Demo Demo
Reconciles two spreadsheets by key, matches names fuzzily to fix mistyped IDs, and normalises values so only real differences are reported, in an Excel report with them highlighted. A demo on generated sample data.
